Alcohol and Drugs Policy

For the purposes of this policy, we distinguish: Alcohol addiction: Habitual use of alcohol by an employee, which hinders the ability to perform work duties, disrupts attendance, or endangers the safety of others. Drug addiction: Habitual use of drugs (except prescribed medication), which hinders the ability to perform duties or endangers safety.

– All employees and contractors are treated consistently and fairly. – Rules are strictly enforced. – Those who admit to a problem will be fully supported by management. – All matters related to this policy are considered strictly confidential. – The rules apply to all employees, workers, and external contractors on projects.

It is DOBAU company policy that everyone must be free from the influence of drugs or alcohol during working hours and while at the workplace. It is strictly prohibited to: – Report for work under the influence of alcohol or drugs. – Have alcohol or illegal drugs at the workplace or on project sites. – Supply others with alcohol or drugs. – Use these substances during work performance. Violation of these rules is considered a serious breach of labor discipline and may lead to immediate termination of employment or contract. Possession or dealing in drugs will be reported to the police.
